This ambrosia maple was carved with an elegant spiral running along its length.
The Egg head piece was caste and then pinned with quarter inch mild steel and then fastened deep into the top of the scepter with resin. All this work makes the head piece feel like a part of the wood.
Scepter was finish with three coats of lacquer and a two color wire wrapped handle.
24 inches tall. (to give you a sense of scale our model is 5’10”)
