Red Mahogany Scepter - Golden Crystal resin head piece on a Red Mahogany shaft

My Scepters are beautiful accessories to any fantasy costume. Sturdy and meant to used and should last a lifetime
This red mahogany was first doweled into round and then carved with a deep spiral running down the shaft.
The Crystal head piece was caste and then pinned with quarter inch mild steel and then fastened deep into the top of the scepter with resin. All this work makes the head piece feel like a part of the wood.
Scepter was finish with three coats of lacquer.
33 inches tall. (to give you a sense of scale our model is 5’10”)
